Drawing competition,to commemorate the death anniversary of Swami vivekananda,2025:

To honour the 123rd death anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, a drawing competition was organised on 26th July 2025 at St. Margaret Convent School, aiming to pay tribute to the great spiritual leader, philosopher, and youth icon of India.
- Activities Done :
 
Drawing competition was organised by the school.The drawing competition was divided into four groups namely Group A,B,C, and D. Their was a department for exhibition where all the children of St. Margaret Convent School showcased their talents by making handcraft items.
- Output:
 
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from several reputed schools in the region, including Kashimpur Girls’ High School, Bholanath High School, and Balaka Shishu Shiksha Niketan, apart from the host institution. The theme was about oneness, unity, and togetherness.
			Death anniversary of Swami vivekananda,2025:

Swami Vivekananda’s death anniversary, also known as “Punyatithi,” was observed on 4th July ( Friday) 2025 at our school premises. On this day we remember his life, teachings, and contributions to India and the world.
- Activities Done :
 
The day began with a solemn floral tribute to a portrait of Swami Vivekananda. Students and teachers gathered to offer flowers and express their reverence. One of our beloved teacher delivered a speech highlighting Swami Vivekananda’s life, his journey from being a wandering monk to a global spiritual leader, and his profound impact on Indian society and thought.
			International Yoga day,2025:
St. Margaret Convent School Observed International Yoga Day on 21st of June,
2025 on school premises with great enthusiasm. The event aimed to promote the benefits of yoga and foster a culture of well – being among students and staff.
- Activities:
 
 A mass yoga session was conducted by our experienced yoga instructor, Pradip Sir. Students from all
classes actively participated in various yoga asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing exercises), and meditation techniques such as Dhanurasana,Vrikshasana, Bhujangasana, Halasana, Padmasana and many more.
- Outcome :
The celebration concluded with a sense of peace and accomplishment. The event was a resounding success, fostering a sense of unity and well-being within the school community. The school plans to continue promoting yoga through regular sessions and awareness programs in the future. 
			Mother’s day & Father’s day,2025:
St. Margaret Convent School celebrated Mother’s Day and Father’s Day on June 16, 2025,bringing together the spirit of appreciation for parents.
While Mother’s Day is originally observed
on June 11th and Father’s Day on June 15th, the school thoughtfully combined the celebrations
into a single event to maximize students’ participation and engagement.
- Activities:
 
The core activity for the day was a greeting card making competition. Students
from all grades enthusiastically participated, showcasing their creativity and heartfelt.
- Outcome :
The celebration successfully fostered a sense of love, respect, and appreciation for parents among the students. 
			SUMMER CAMP,2025:
“Summer camp is a great opportunity to explore new things or dive deep into areas you love”
The summer camp in St. Margaret convent School , started from 15 th May to 20th May
- Activities:
 
Our summer camp included various activities like Zumba,Mock drill ,Creative fun camp and sports camp. Fun filled activities for the anxious children during the holidays gave them an opportunity to learn new skills -dance ,art and craft ,theatre ,yoga ,music ,explore in science and excel in sports .
- Outcome :
Enhance their creativity and imagination .
Boost their confidence and self-esteem .
Improve their social skills and teamwork .
Explore new interests and develop new skills . 
			Rabindra Jayenti:
On 8th May, 2025 St. Margaret Convent School Organized 164th birth anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore at the school premises.
- Activities:
 
On the occasion of this program,the school community gathered to celebrate the birth anniversary of the legendary poet, philosopher, and Nobel laureate, Rabindranath Tagore.
The celebration commenced with a heartfelt tribute to his timeless contributions to
literature, music and art through floral tribute and lamp lighting ceremony.
- Outcome :
Rabindra Jayanti Program was a resounding success, filled with joy, creativity, and
a deep sense of reverence for Tagore’s profound contributions. This event served as 
			EARTH DAY:
Earth Day 2025, which is on April 22nd, focuses on the theme “Our Power, Our Planet” and emphasizes the importance of renewable energy and collective action to protect the environment. This year marks the 55th anniversary of Earth Day.
Theme: “Our Power, Our Planet”.
Activities: Students brought Plant samplings and did different activites to raise awareness and promote environmental stewardship.
Lets follow the principle of 3RS rule- REDUCE REUSE RECYCLE 
for the enviornmental sustainability.
			ORIENTATION DAY:
On 12th april, ST. Margaret Convent School Organized an Orientation Day , which were 
designed to introduce new learning environment, providing essential information about the 
school and fostering a sense of belonging. Many chief guest were also present. Lots of 
discussions were done regarding new policies ,new strategies, food packets were served, 
various events also took place such as Singing dancing etc. Annual report of the school 
were discussed. Few of our supportive parents delivered speeches regarding the school 
environment, its curriculum, activities etc. This program ultimately fosters them for 
success in their educational journey.
			Community service:
Visit in Aashiyana,”The Happy Home”
“Aao Milke Khile”
Objective– To share some care for the children in an orphanage home and spread love and friendship
Activity– As we know “Sharing is Caring”, we took our students to the aforementioned orphanage home, “Aashiyana” this year. This initiative is a reminder to our students for understanding the importance of empathy, and care and cherishing the valuable moments of love with kind souls. The children had prepared handmade cards with love and care from the deepest corners of their hearts for those children who are residing in Aashiyana. They have even brought some essential goods for the children of the orphanage home. We hope that our students will continue to grow in their lives. They will carry forward theri compassion, holding the memories of this day with each step forward towards their success.
Activity Done– Our visit to Aashiyana “The Happy Home”, taught our children to become more compassionate, caring and empathic towards society and the people within. The students will carry forward this compassion, holding onto the memories of this day.
			Grand Parents Day
The yummy food, the fairy tales, the refuge after every mischief was the lap of our grandparents.The only place with unconditional and endless love.
Our new age fast paced life often misses out these tiny pockets of peace with our grandparents.
Celebration of Grandparents day is a very small tribute and a token of gratitude to those unsung heroes in our lives.
This day is also crucial in the series of interactive sessions for kids as it will strengthen the foundation of values and culture among the kids and evolve them as compassionate and benevolent individuals.
			
			Cyber Security Rally
“Reducing the Online Anomalies”
On 18th January, A Cyber Awareness program was arranged to initiate social awareness among the children as well as the parents.
Objective: The main aim of the rally was to educate the public on various types of crimes happening in cyberspace and the safety measures to be followed.
Activity Done: Students held placards educating the public on various types of online scams. Through this awareness program, Students urge people not to share confidential information, bank account details and other personal details with unknown persons. This kind of initiative always makes our children socially active and committed towards society.
Raksha Bandhan
We took initiative to celebrate Raksha Bandhan, with some children we tied Rakhi to local people. This was followed by dance and song performances and recitation of some children’s poems. Everyone enjoyed the event. The main idea of the celebration was to teach the children that the bond of protection is not only a bond of siblings but much more.
			
			Teacher’s Day
Teacher’s Day is celebrated on 5th September every year in India. It is celebrated on the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan who was the second President of India and a great scholar. Teacher’s Day is an important occasion for all educational institutions and shows respect for the hard work and education of all respected teachers. On this day we organize some cultural events where children participate in the event in front of their parents.

Every year on 14th November we celebrate Children’s Day with the aim of spreading child awareness among the common people. Children’s Day is celebrated across India to increase awareness about the rights, education, and welfare of children. We have been working on various child development programs from the beginning of our journey so this day is very important for us. On this day all the children and students participated in the rally organized by our organization.
